VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN To secure your volunteer assignment, you should arrive at the volunteer check-in area, located at the front of the Football Stadium. Also, please try and arrive on time for your scheduled shift, as this will allow for the registration process and will give us time to answer any last-minute questions you may have. All walk-up volunteers will be placed as needed to ensure the events run on schedule.
You must fill out a short registration form before participating. This form simply requires name, address, phone number, and signature, and it will be available at each check-in point.
Once you are checked-in, you will receive a ribbon and a nametag. The ribbon is yours to keep. Any training will be provided at each event. If you have any questions or problems during the events, the staff or the key volunteers at each venue will be more than willing to help.
Attire: Please dress for comfort and mobility. Wear comfortable shoes - you will be on your feet most of the time.
Parking: General parking is available at Cedar Hill Stadium
For security purposes, please make sure to bring a current photo ID with you to the volunteer check-in area.

The mission of Special Olympics Texas is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
